Patriarchal structures are strongly entrenched in Rajasthan. Nevertheless, three young Indian women, Monica, Pratiksha and Uvi, decide to pursue their dreams. In the art of mehndi, traditional body painting with henna, they find a way to express their desire for independence and self-determination.
